Street art is an evolution of the traditional graffiti art. It involves strong concepts, blending of artworks with the surrounding environment and usage of different mediums such as paints, markers, stencils, wheat pasting, posters, installations and other recycling materials. Street art also explores the practice of interaction and delivering messages of the artwork across to the public.
Noise Singapore and the National Library Board jointly organised a Noise-Bearfruit Street Art Workshop Series in December 2011. The four fruitful sessions culminated in this showcase of street art installation presented to you by 20 participants, who unleashed their creativity and got their hands dirty during the journey of exploration led by established local street artists ANTZ and Clogtwo. Experience the difference.
